Zac Maurais is a serial entrepreneur known for founding and scaling three successful startups. His current venture, Utility Profit, revolutionizes the utility setup process for property managers and tenants by providing a comprehensive platform that ensures services are correctly established and generates additional revenue for property managers. Today the Utility Profit platform is used by +300 property managers across 100,000 homes. 

Before Utility Profit, Zac co-founded Sunroom, a technology-driven home leasing service that quickly expanded to 8,000 homes nationwide and built novel leasing AI, self-showing IoT devices, and asset management tools. His first startup, Favor, became one of the largest employers in Texas with over 75,000 delivery drivers and was profitably sold to HEB Grocery in 2018.

In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Zac is a real estate and angel investor, with notable successes, including being the first investor in a billion-dollar unicorn company. He holds a degree from Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina and is passionate about design and technology. Outside of work, Zac enjoys cruising around Austin, Texas, on his e-bike and spending time with his wife Kelly, and their two children.
