John Good is the Chief Executive Officer of VineBrook Homes Trust, Inc., with over 30 years of experience in the REIT and financial services sectors. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership and advisory roles in both public and private companies. A nationally recognized corporate and securities lawyer, Good has acted as lead counsel in more than 200 securities offerings, primarily within the REIT industry, and has served as outside counsel to over 10 NYSE-listed REITs. Previously, Good was the chairman and CEO of Jernigan Capital, Inc. (JCAP), a NYSE-listed self-storage REIT. He successfully led JCAP's initial public offering in 2015 and grew the company to approximately $1 billion in enterprise value before its acquisition by NexPoint Advisors, L.P. in 2020. Following the acquisition, he continued as CEO and chairman of JCAP's successor entity. Additionally, Good serves as an independent director and chair of the audit committee for Farmland Partners, Inc., another NYSE-listed REIT.
