Christopher Juarez is a senior associate with the Structured & Warehouse Finance Team. He represents clients in complex transactions involving single-family homes, including term and warehouse financings, single and multiborrower securitizations, joint ventures, investment funds, and mergers and acquisitions.
Chris maintains an active pro bono practice. He has represented the descendants of Willa and Charles Bruce in the historic return of the “Bruce’s Beach” property and was part of a team that obtained a victory on behalf of a client who was sexually assaulted while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Chris earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was an executive board member of the Stanford Latino Law Students Association and served as an extern at the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning. He received his B.A. in political science, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Southern California.
Representative Experience
Represented a real estate private equity firm in multiple joint ventures for new development and construction projects.
Counsel to a pension fund in the acquisition and financing of multiple luxury apartment buildings.
Counsel to a pension fund in the disposition of a first-class commercial office park.
Counsel to a lender in $100 million+ multiphase construction loan.
Counsel to a lender in the origination of multiple $300 million+ mortgage and mezzanine loans secured by first-class commercial office parks, and subsequent syndication and sales of such loans.
Counsel to the owner-operator of single-family homes through numerous financings and securitizations.
