Adam Wolfson
Adam Wolfson is the founder, CEO, and CIO of Wolfson BTR, an award-winning Build-To-Rent (BTR) company. As one of the pioneers in large-scale investment and development in the BTR sector, he recognized early on the potential to create a new asset class that combines the robust fundamentals of Single-Family Rentals (SFR) with the operational efficiency of multifamily apartments. Under his leadership, Wolfson BTR has developed a pipeline of nearly 2,000 units, with an estimated exit valuation of $1 billion. Today, the firm ranks among the top 10 BTR developers in the United States and is one of the largest privately capitalized developers in the sector.
Wolfson focuses on investing in and developing BTR projects in Florida and the southeastern USA, both as a principal for his firm and on behalf of high-net-worth and institutional investors. He also chairs the investment committee of the affiliated Plain Sight Properties ResiFund series, established specifically to finance Wolfson BTR’s pipeline and future projects.
Before founding Wolfson BTR, Adam served as Chief Investment Officer for a top 20 SFR company, where he managed investments, capital raising, and company-wide P&L leadership. He played a key role in creating the firm’s BTR program and is considered a pioneer in the space, frequently speaking at industry conferences and panels.
With over 20 years of real estate experience, including development, acquisitions, leasing, and advisory work, Adam has been involved in transactions totaling over $1 billion and 2 million square feet across various major asset classes.
Adam earned his MBA from George Washington University and his BA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, he now resides in Miami with his two sons and is active in the community, including previous service with Miami Neighborhoods United.
